There is already a date, price and editions for the Horizon Forbidden West art book, which cannot be missing from your collection

Horizon Forbidden West It was the great blockbuster with which Sony opened this very special year for PlayStation. Came out in February 2022 for PS4 and PS5continuing the story of Aloy in a new region, old Nevada and California, fighting against new machines, tribes… and visitors from beyond.

If you want to know all the ins and outs of the creation of Horizon Forbidden West, you can’t miss its official art book. It has been hard to get, but we finally know the date of publication of this volume, and its two editions.

The Art of Horizon Forbidden Westfrom Dark Horse, will be released on April 25, 2023, and will have a limited edition.

darkhorseas always, will edit a “bill” of more than 200 pages in hardcover, packed with large, full-color illustrations of the game’s concept art Guerrilla Gamesand texts that allow us to know the ins and outs of its development.

The great advantage of these books is that they allow you to see spectacular panoramas of the scenes or see in detail the costumes and objects that, playing, you may not even pay attention to them… as well as alternative versions of the designs that did not make it to the final game.

Misja Baasproject art director of Guerrilla Gameshas written the preface and highlights that what he likes most about these books is seeing his vision represented in the game, and how in some cases the final result exceeds what they imagined.

Dark Horse will publish two editions. The standard, which costs $49.99, and the Deluxe. The Deluxe Edition of The Art of Horizon Forbidden West will come in a sleeve inspired by Far Zenith designs, and a couple of gallery-worthy art prints.

In addition, its pages have “futuristic” metallic effects: it will truly feel like a premium book, which costs twice as much, $99.99.

At the moment we do not know if any Spanish publisher will bring this translated book (the Horizon Zero Dawn art book did not). So, if you don’t want to wait for a possible translation, you can already book it at Amazon Spain.
