God of War Ragnarok director Eric Williams says it’s highly unlikely that it will receive DLC: “We’ve already put everything we had in. Don’t count on it.”
The story of Kratos in Norse mythology has come to an end with God of War Ragnarok. Sony Santa Monica has already announced that, instead of making a trilogy, they had decided to divide this new Kratos story into two chapters, which we have played on PS4 and PS5.
When you get to the credits of God of War Ragnarok, you better get used to the idea of not playing Kratos again for a season, since Ragnarok is not receiving any DLC either.
That has been indicated by the game director Eric Williamsthat although he has not completely denied it, his words suggest that they have no intention of continuing the story with expansions (as happened with the 2018 game, which did not have DLC).
