You can now link your PlayStation Network account with Steam in Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is updated on PC and now you can link your Steam account with your PlayStation Network account and earn rewards.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC it has received a new patch that improves performance, fixes bugs and adds some new features. Among them, the possibility of linking the PlayStation Network account with the Steam account, and thus get some rewards.

Patch v1.1006.0.0 is now available in Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC, released last August.

What’s new in the Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered patch on PC

The most striking novelty of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered patch v1.1006.0.0 on PC is the possibility of link your Steam account and PlayStation Network.

If you do, you will get rewards automatically: the Resilience Suit and gadget Concussive Blast. you will also win 2 skill points to be able to spend instantly. If you had already unlocked them, you will not earn anything new, that is (they are not exclusive rewards).

Linking your PlayStation Network and Steam account also means you’ll receive news and offers on PlayStation Studios games via PC.

But there is much more. The new Spider-Man patch adds support for Intel XeSS, Intel’s scaling technology through hardware acceleration and an AI-based algorithm. That is, like AMD’s FSR and NVIDIA’s DLSS.

You will be able to activate Intel XeSS from the options and display menu. A future patch, by the way, will make it compatible with FSR 2.1.1. and DLSS 3, the next generation of super-sampling upscaling technology available on NVIDIA’s beastly new RTX 4090 GPU.

Today’s patch also fixes a bug that could cause stuttering on some hardware configurations with ray tracing enabled, as well as changes that improve the visual quality of ray tracing reflectionsand cinematic errors in the 32:9 aspect ratio for ultrawide monitors.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is available now on Steam, and its sequel starring Miles Morales is also coming to PC this fall.
