Dell has presented two new Alienware gaming monitors that, as usual in this brand specializing in high-performance equipment and peripherals, stand out for features and design.
The two new monitors are the Alienware 25 (AW2523HF) and Alienware 27 (AW2723DF). They differ in size, resolution, and features, but use a similar design including a new, smaller hexagonal mount to give gamers more room for accessories and peripherals. They also include as a novelty a retractable headphone holder to remove it for those who do not use it.
The new Dell Alienware 25 mounts a 25-inch diagonal screen based on a panel signed by LG with FHD resolution and a refresh rate that rises to 360 Hz. Its response time is only 0.5 ms and the coverage of color palettes covers 99% sRGB.
The top model in size is the Dell Alienware 27. The panel also from LG increases the size to 27 inches and also the native resolution to 2K to offer 2560 x 1440 pixels. Its standard refresh rate is 240 Hz although users can overclock it to 280 Hz. It supports 95 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
Both models support the industry’s leading image synchronization technologies, VESA’s AdaptiveSync Display, AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro, and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility. Its ergonomic base features swivel, pivot, tilt, and height adjustments, 360-degree ventilation, and LED backlighting.
They have DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 inputs, as well as a port hub with multiple USB 3.2 Gen1 inputs. The new Alienware gaming monitors are available for reservation starting today at the dell web portal with delivery at the beginning of September with official prices of 450 and 650 dollars respectively for the 25-inch and 27-inch models.
