On September 2, the remake of The Last of Us will arrive for PlayStation 5, which updates the graphics of the remaster released on PS4 with the engine of The Last of Us Part II.

Be careful, because we are not only talking about better textures. This remake for PS5 changes the modeling of the characters (especially notable in the case of Ellie), as well as the general appearance of the scenarios, weapons and other objects.

Although it is something that we already knew, seeing it in action becomes especially noticeable. The comparison shows the same images in both versions, and it almost seems that some scenarios have been practically redone from scratch.

In case you didn’t know, The Last of Us had a PS4-exclusive remaster that landed in stores back in 2014. It was a higher version than the original PS3which will now be in diapers with the remake for PS5 and PC.

The Last of Us Part I will be available from the next september 2 on PlayStation 5. The PC version does not yet have a release date, although a leak indicates that it will arrive a few months later.
