Bethesda has confirmed the games that will be at QuakeCon 2022 (August 18-20), and surprisingly Starfield is not part of the list.
Video game events are the hot sauce of summer. Although in recent weeks we have not had too many, we will have to be vigilant from now on. And it is that QuakeCon 2022 is just around the corner.
Traditionally known as the official event of the Quake saga, it is normal for different Bethesda games to be part of the programming. We are also not forgetting Arkane, Tango Gameworks or id Software.
QuakeCon 2022 will be held from August 18 to 20, betting again on the digital format and bringing together millions of fans. Bethesda has announced the complete program of the event.
Redfall – Official Gameplay – Available on Game Pass
Perhaps most surprising is the presence of Redfall, the new vampire action game from Arkane (Dishonored, Deathloop). The FPS will have a campaign mode and a fun cooperative mode.
Redfall followed the same fate as Starfield. Both games were going to go on sale at the end of this 2022, but in the end they postponed their launch to 2023. Specifically, could land in stores in the first half of the new year.
What happens to Starfield? The ambitious space RPG from Bethesda Game Studios was going to be released on November 11 of this year, but in the end we will have to wait for 2023. And no, Starfield is not on the QuakeCon 2022 schedule..
It is news that has caught our attention, and not exactly for the better. We’ve seen Starfield gameplay before, but we were hoping to see it in action again at the Quake event.
It is possible that it is the “surprise” of QuakeCon 2022. Or maybe Bethesda wants to save it for a future Xbox gaming event.which could be held in September.
Be that as it may, Starfield will not be at QuakeCon 2022. In addition to Redfall, other Bethesda titles that are part of the programming are Fallout 76, The Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 4, Quake Remastered or even Ghostwire Tokyo.
The QuakeCon 2022 is one of the most interesting video game events of the summer. You can follow the event live on Twitch and YouTube, from August 18 to 20. As for Starfield, maybe we’ll know more after the summer or next fall.
