Multiversus delays the launch of season 1 and the arrival of Morty

Multiversus Season 1, planned for August 9, is delayed without a date. The same thing happens with the character of Morty, one of the novelties of version 1.0.

If you like fighting games, you have to try multiverse. This is the long-awaited Smash Bros with Warner characters and licenses, available from July 26 on PlayStation, Xbox and PC totally free.

For now it’s just a beta version, which includes 16 characters (many of them are unlocked with character tokens) and a pre-battle pass. When will version 1.0 be available?

Player First Games confirmed a couple of days ago that Multiversus Season 1 would be arriving on August 9. It would include the character of Morty, and also the battle pass made up of 50 levels. Of course, we have bad news to give you.

The creators of Multiversus have announced that season 1 and the arrival of Morty are delayed without a date. And this just five days after version 1.0 was released (which puts an end to the beta phase).

We want everyone to know that we are delaying the start of season 1 and the release of Morty to a later date. We know this may be disappointing to some and we want to assure our community that we are dedicated to delivering new and exciting content that delights players.”.

Outside of Season 1, this means that Morty’s character won’t be available yet. From Player First Games they apologize to the players and indicate that they try to do their best.

Multiversus is still in beta. With the arrival of the battle pass and season 1, the free to play will jump to its final release. We remind you that the title will be part of EVO 2022.
