The long-awaited sequel to A Plague Tale will hit stores on October 18, and we already know the first details of its precious collector’s edition.
At last. We’ve waited a long time, but now we know more about A Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to the adventures of Amicia and Hugo that dazzled us back in May 2019 on PC and consoles.
There was a spectacular Focus Showcase today (with a focus on upcoming Focus Interactive games) and of course A Plague Tale Requiem was the star of the show. For starters, Asobo Studios has confirmed the release date of the title.
A Plague Tale: Requiem will hit stores next October 18. The title will be available in PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch (Cloud Version)in addition to in Xbox GamePass. Did you miss a good gameplay of this sequel? Well here you have it:
A Plague Tale: Requiem – Extended Gameplay Trailer
Amicia and Hugo will not have it easy in this adventure, set in France during the Hundred Years’ War. Both brothers will travel to the south of the country to live new and emotional adventures.
In the gameplay (12 minutes) we can see Amicia and Hugo hiding from the enemy soldiers, while discovering the secrets of a huge quarry and hiding in the shadows. Once again, strategy and stealth will be key to progressing through the story.
Technically, A Plague Tale Requiem is a great show. We already saw it in an Xbox Series X gameplay or in the Tribeca Games Festival demo, but with this gameplay we completely cleared up doubts.

Now that we know the release date (October 18), Focus Interactive has confirmed that pre-orders for A Plague Tale Requiem are already open… including those that concern the incredible collector’s edition of the title.

A Plague Tale Requiem will hit stores next October 18available in PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass, PC and Nintendo Switch. Of course, you already know that the version for the hybrid console will be in the cloud (Cloud Version), although it will be launched simultaneously with the rest.
