Jane Foster, the Mighty Thor, will be the next playable character in Marvel’s Avengers, who is still alive and will receive a new update in May.
Crystal Dynamics continues to work on Marvel’s Avengers, and taking advantage of the furor raised by the Thor: Love and Thunder trailer, has confirmed that its next playable heroine will be Jane Foster, the Mighty Thor.
In a release reveal that their next update, 2.4, will be released in May. That won’t be the Jane Foster update, which will come in version 2.5, and it doesn’t have a date. Jane Foster will not be a Thor skin, but rather she will be a new playable character, with an unrevealed design, but based on her comic book origins.
Now that patch 2.3 is behind us, we’d like to update you on what’s coming up in the near future for the game. This includes some great improvements to the event system as well as our next playable hero Jane Foster: The Mighty Thor!

They acknowledge that their moves will have many in common with Odinson, but they will also have many signature elements. He will be the eleventh playable character, counting Spider-Man, but it’s funny that two of them are almost “clones”: two Hawkeyes, Kate Bishop and Clint Barton, and now two Thor…
Janes Foster does not have a date, and Crystal Dynamics has not dared to confirm it, but surely its intention is that it falls close to the theatrical release of Thor: Love and Thunder, July 8.
This film, the fourth in the Thor saga in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (the only fourth part in the UCM), is once again directed by Taika Waititi and stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor. But the character of Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portmanalthough now it will also be Thor.
The return of Portman as the Mighty Thor, in a role at the height of the actress, is one of the keys to a film that has given much to talk about after its trailer released on Monday. Here you have all the keys of the trailer.
Disney + continues to release news, such as its STAR channel. If you sign up for the annual subscription, you will save the equivalent of two months compared to the monthly subscription.
Going back to the Avengers video games, Crystal Dynamics has confirmed that version 2.4 coming out in May will bring new system improvements and in-game events, such as Cosmic Threat, Tachyon Anomaly, and Corrupted Vibranium, which will give more and better rewards.
How much longer will Crystal Dynamics continue to support the game? Recently, they announced the start of development of a new Tomb Raider game in Unreal Engine 5.
The Avengers game, based on online play, barely has an average of 300 simultaneous players on Steam, very far from the success that we supposed it would come given its name. At least we know that more characters on the way (all are free), but will there be new heroes after Jane Foster? Will there be new campaigns after Black Panther last year?
