One of the strangest fights you can have in your Elden Ring games is when you’re up against Sir Gideon Ofnira wizard who betrays you and is able to use any spell you have learned so far in the adventure.

So armed with a variety of some of the best spells you’ve ever discovered, you need to deal enough damage to defeat him, but luckily we’ve got a few tips that will make your life a lot easier.

In fact, despite his wide variety of magical attacks, he’s not exactly one of the most difficult enemies you’re going to face as long as you know what to do.

• The recommended level for the battle against this boss is 115, and with weapons that are level 20 or higher.
• As you well know, this is a magical focus enemy, so most shields won’t be up to the task and you need to tackle a more long-distance engagement.
• It has a wide variety of attacks that do a wide variety of damage types such as magic, holy, fire, bleeding or rot, among others. The key is that it does practically no physical damage.
• This enemy actually gains two additional spells if the player has defeated certain previous bosses.
• Another thing to keep in mind is that this enemy can heal himself, and he can use a series of vials that restore about half of his health. With the winged scythe you can disable his healing ability for a limited time.
