The director of Trek to Yomi confirms the resolution and technical performance of the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It will be released on May 5 in stores.
Do you like samurai movies? In this case, surely you are waiting like water in May (and never better said) for the release of Trek to Yomi. It’s the new of the creators of the Shadow Warrior series.
Trek to Yomi is a side scrolling action adventure, focused on narrative and characters… and betting on a careful artistic design. Everything will be displayed in an elegant black and white style.
A few days ago, the director of Trek to Yomi confirmed to us that the game will last about five hours, and that we do not expect a challenging experience. The essence of the title will fall on the plot, setting and audiovisual experience.
On this interview, Marcin Kryszpin has also talked about technical performance from Trek to Yomi. You already know that the title will reach both new generation consoles and old-gen consoles, as well as PC.
Trek to Yomi will run at 4K resolution and 60fps on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This has been confirmed by the director of the game, which indicates that fluidity will be assured in these systems.
According to Kryszpin, the version for Xbox Series S will also reach 4K resolution, something that has surprised many. A possible way to update old-gen versions has not been indicated, by the way.
Likewise, the director of Trek to Yomi Nor has he mentioned that they will include different graphic execution modes. This means that the game will move under a fixed foundation on all platforms.
While on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S (we assume that on PC too) it will reach 4K and 60 fps, Trek to Yomi will bet on a lower frame rate (fps) in its versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Trek to Yomi will hit stores next May 5thavailable in PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. Do not hesitate to take a look at the new 15-minute gameplay of the game, with clear tributes to Akira Kurosawa’s cinema.
