Calm down because in this article we are not going to put no spoilers about the end of the game. For that, you will have to enjoy Ghostwire Tokyo from March 25. What we do want is to highlight some of the acknowledgments that appear in the credit titles.
One of them is dedicated to Ikumi Nakamura. At just 36 years old, Nakamura was one of the lead artists in the development of The Evil Within and The Evil Within 2. (also from Tango Gameworks) and began working on Ghostwire Tokyo as creative director.
She was in charge of presenting the game during E3 2019, at the Bethesda conference, and became a phenomenon on social media for her sympathy. However, Nakamura left the studio in the middle of the project.
Since then, Nakamura has toured different studios around the world, has collaborated with Ubisoft to create a series of skins for Rainbow Six Siege, and had a son. Ikumi Nakamura recently revealed the reason why she left Tango Gameworks and introduced her own independent studio: unseen tokyo.
We liked finding her name among the acknowledgments, and it is a recognition of the enormous work of the creative in Ghostwire Tokyo. However, the credits include something much more exciting for any video game lover.

Ghostwire Tokyo is dedicated to the memory of Robert A. Altman. He is the founder of Zenimax Media (Bethesda), who passed away in February 2021 at the age of 73. The loss of him was communicated through a tweet on the official Bethesda account.
The statement called Altman “a true visionary, friend and believer in the spirit of people and the power of what they could achieve together. An extraordinary leader is leaving, and a better human being.”
Now his memory also lives on in Ghostwire Tokyoone of the last games the company developed when Altman was still at the helm.
