Who would win in a match, Rocky or Rambo? Sylvester Stallone analyzes what would be an all-out fight

Sylvester Stallone’s two most famous characters face off in fantastic fanart, and Sylvester Stallone imagines how the match would play out.

when talking about Sylvester Stalloneit is difficult not to come to mind the name of one of its most iconic characters, or even two: Rocky Balboa and John Rambo.

Stallone stepped into the ring for the first time in 1976 to bring the italian foal in Rocky, the film directed by John G. Avildsen (Karate Kid).

Rocky was a middling thug in his mid-thirties working for a second-rate pawnbroker in Philadelphia. The opportunity of a lifetime for him would come when a twist of fate led him to compete against the world heavyweight champion: apollo creed (Carl Weathers).

On the other hand, we would meet John Rambo in 1982, in Cornered, when Sly would become the Green Beret veteran of Vietnam who returns home to find a country that despises him.

When contempt turns to more than just swearing, Rambo must bring out his intensive training in the middle of the town.

Stallone’s two seasoned characters became established franchises. Rocky last appeared in Creed II, the sequel to the Rocky spin-off starring Michael B Jordanwhose third installment is in production.

Rambo, for his part, would return in 2019 with Rambo: Last Blood, with an aging John Rambo trying to live a quiet life on a ranch, but the action continues to haunt him.

Sylvester Stallone has shared a fanart of Rambo: The True Fangroup in the form of a boxing poster in which he faces Rocky Balboa and John Rambo.

The actor has analyzed how the combat between the two characters would unfold, highlighting Rocky’s toughness in the face of the rival’s attacks and Rambo’s lethality to hit the opponent’s vital points.

All this, of course, in a street fight, without rules. Sly determines that, whoever won, “neither of us would ever be the same.”

It is clear that it would be a glorious and worth seeing combat, for which even Sylvester Stallone himself would pay, as indicated in the description of the publication.

Who do you think would prevail in this fight: John Rambo or Rocky Balboa?
