Paramount once again shows off its ability to listen to Sony fans and corrects one of the Sonic 2: The Movie posters.
The film franchise Sonic has become a rare bird where paramount has shown to make good use of the feedback it receives from fans.
When Sonic: The Movie released its first trailer, fans were shocked by the intended design of SEGA’s blue hedgehog.
The feedback led Paramount to pull the film from the schedule and return to the design room for Sonic to adopt a design true to the video games.
The play went pretty well. Sonic: The movie was one of the few blockbuster movies of 2020mainly because it arrived shortly before the coronavirus pandemic caused the closure of movie theaters across the planet.
The tape collected $319.7 million worldwide and broke the stigma that prevails in the adaptations of video games to the big screen.
Paramount would soon greenlight a sequel. Sonic 2: The film will arrive on April 1st in Spanish cinemas, with Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, Jim Carrey, Tika Stumper, Idris Elba and Collen O’Shaughnessey.
A few days ago one of the choral posters of Sonic 2: The Movie arrived, with the entire cast ready to go into action.
However, this poster has received significant negative feedback due to the absence in the credits of Tika Stumper and Collen O’Shaughnessey.
The poster includes Ben Schwartz, who will voice Sonic again, James Marsden, who will once again become TomJim Carrey, who will sow chaos as the doctor Ivo ‘Eggman’ Robotnik and Idris Elba, who will voice knuckles.

The absence of Tika Stumper, who will again get into the skin of Maddyand Collen O’Shaughnessey, who will voice tails as he already did in multiple video games of the franchise, he did not like it at all. Many were quick to point out that the poster only featured the male actors in the cast. You can see the original poster here.
Paramount has rectified and incorporated the names of Tika Stumper and Collen O’Shaughnessey to the poster, both digitally and in print.
It’s worth noting that on some Sonic: The Movie (the first) posters, Ben Schwartz was not on the poster, literally being the main character.
In addition to the release of Sonic 2: The Movie in a short month, Paramount has already confirmed a third film installment for SEGA’s blue hedgehog, as well as a television series for Knuckles.
