First look at Interview with the Vampire, the series based on the novel by Anne Rice

This is what Interview with the Vampire looks like, the new television series based on the famous novel by Anne Rice produced by AMC.

This year AMC will release interview with the vampirea new television series based on the popular novel by Anne Rice, which had its film adaptation in 1994 starring Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt.

Published in 1976, the Interview with the Vampire novel was a revolution within the genre by changing the topics of vampire books, showing much more “human” and vulnerable beings.

The play follows Louis de Pointe du Lac, a vampire who was turned by Lestat and who, two hundred years later, decides to tell his story to journalist Daniel Malloy.

To whet your appetite, AMC released a preview of all its upcoming releases for this 2022 (such as the imminent end of Better Call Saul), showing a brief glimpse of Interview with the Vampire.

The cast of Interview with the Vampire is made up of Sam Reid (The Newsreader, Lambs of God), who plays Lestat, Jacob Anderson (Overlord, Game of Thrones) in the role of Louis and Bailey Bass (A Jenkins Family Christmas) playing Claudia, a role that in the film was played by a very young Kirsten Dunst at the time.

This new television adaptation intends to start a saga that adapts the rest of Anne Rice’s Vampire Chroniclessince the AMC chain took over the rights to the 18 books that make up the saga.

However, at the moment the only series that has been greenlit by AMC is Interview with the Vampire, which will consist of a total of 8 episodes.

The series Interview with the vampire will premiere on AMC sometime in 2022. Meanwhile, here we remind you of some of the best vampire movies in the history of cinema.
