The Wolf Among Us 2 finally has a trailer: Bigby will return in 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One and PC with a team full of Telltale veterans.
The Wolf Among Us 2 already has a date, platforms and trailer. It has been a very long wait, because the continuation of the Telltale Games graphic adventure was canceled after the bankruptcy of the studio, but it was resurrected a year later by LCG Entertainment, which he refounded it with the same name and many former Telltale employees.
In an online presentation featuring Geoff Keighley as presenter, it is confirmed that The Wolf Among Us 2: A Telltale Series will come out in 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC (Epic Games Store).
The new installment will continue the story of Sheriff Bigby in a world in which the characters fables and fairy tales are real and coexist with the rest of ordinary and worldly people in New York.
This story will be set beyond Fabletown and plunge into the Big Apple during the winter of 1980, just six months after the first season… which came out eight years ago. Now, Bigby is suspended from the body and in therapy for his rages.
Among the new characters is the Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz and a new human, detective Faye Leung. The game is being developed on the Unreal Engine, and Adam Harrington and Erin Yvette voice actors for Bigby and Snow White return for the sequel.
The Wolf Among Us 2 was announced at The Game Awards 2019, but had remained silent until now. Half of the development teamin collaboration with AdHoc Studio, worked on the previous Telltale, and they want to correct past mistakes.
