In this guide we explain how to get Rowlett, Cyndaquill and Oshawott, the three starters of Pokémon Legends: Arceus without resorting to exchanges.
Like any good Pokemon game, Pokemon Legends: Arceus starts with a choice: the starting Pokémon. Many things have changed in the delivery that is already on sale for Nintendo Switch, but there are others, such as the choice of the first partner, which remain as usual.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus invites us to choose between three initial Pokémon belonging to previous generations: Rowlett (plant / flying), Cyndaquill (fire) and Oshawott (water). As usual, we can only choose one; the rest stay with Professor Lavender.
It always hurts to have to say goodbye to the other two Pokémon… Although in past generations we could resort to trading or breeding to get the other two starters.
The first option is also present here, but in Pokémon Legends: Arceus it is possible to get the three initial Pokémon without resorting to an exchange.
How? It is very simple. The first step is… complete the story. And by completing the story, we mean seeing the credits (because once it’s completed, there’s still a lot to do).
When you do, head back to Galaxia Headquarters in Villa Jubilee and go into Professor Lavender’s office, which is on the left hand side. Talk to the teacher and… He’ll give you the two remaining starter Pokémon!
In summary: To get Rowlett, Cyndaquill and Oshawott in Pokémon Legends: Arceus you just need to finish the game and talk to Professor Lavender. As simple as that!
There is, however, another option: space-time distortions. When one of these strange phenomena occurs in Hisui, you can run into Pokémon of all kinds. What if, that also includes the Pokémon Legends starters: Arceus.
Be it one way or another, you know how to get the three starters of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Did you manage to evolve them into their final forms?) We leave you our analysis of Pokémon Legends: Arceus in case you are interested in knowing what we think about the new Game Freak game for Nintendo Switch.
