Sony Pictures could start filming the Kraven the Hunter movie as early as next month, according to the latest information.

While many are still hungover from Spider-Man: No Way Home, Sony and Marvel they already have their sights set on future projects, both collaborative and independent.

Sony Pictures has the premiere of Morbius, with Jared Leto, next April, after delaying the film for the seventh time at the beginning of the year.

Beyond, with a view to the future, The Sony Pictures Spider-Man Universe has the Kraven the Hunter movie, which will feature Aaron Taylor Johnson What Sergei Kravinov.

As reported by Murphy’s Multiverse (via comic book), the Kraven the Hunter film could start production next February in the United Kingdom, although it is not a closed date due to the pandemic.

The film is scheduled to premiere in January 2023, which means a February start of shooting is ideal at this point, giving the crew time to do principal photography and any subsequent reshoots.

A year ahead is the standard time window for this type of production, considering any type of delay that may arise, within normality. Then there are the pandemic delays, which are a lottery.

The Kraven the Hunter movie will join the Venom and Morbius movies as Spider-Man villain origin stories, with which Sony is shaping its own unique cinematic universe.

The theatrical release of Kraven the Hunter is scheduled for January 13, 2023, subject to any changes that shooting or Sony’s schedule may cause.
