They recreate the first Metal Gear Solid in Unreal Engine 5 with Nanite and Lumen technologies, this would be the remake we all dream of!

metal gear solid is one of the games that has most impacted the generation of gamers who discovered it in 1998. Many of those who played it back in the day on PlayStation have grown up to become game developers or digital artists.

This is the case of Juanma, who sends us his project made on his Just An Idea Studio channel. Is about a remake of Metal Gear in Unreal Engine 5, taking advantage of its Nanite and Lumen technology.

Metal Gear Solid is one of the most important games of my life. It changed the way I see video games, and even my way of being in many things“, explains Juanma, who also explains at the end of the video how he created this demo.

Because apparently Konami works on a remake of the most acclaimed installment, Metal Gear Solid 3, but also in remasters of other Metal Gear Solid. All would be projects subcontracted to other studios, with the intention of recovering the company’s classic sagas, including Castlevania and Silent Hill…
