Yesterday the second episode of The Book of Boba Fett, the new live action series of Star wars serving with spin-off of The Mandalorian.
Temuera Morrison gets back into the skin of the mythical Boba fett, accompanied by Ming-Na Wen What Fennec shand.
Part of the series takes place in the time span from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi to the moment when Boba reappears in The Mandalorian.
That includes the moment the bounty hunter escapes from the Sarlacc and is captured by a tribe of tusken bandits, also known as “dwellers of the sands”.
Star Wars sometimes boasts of hiding famous faces under helmets, as was the case with Daniel Craig in Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.
Boba Fett’s book is not going to be left behind. Although the face of whom we are going to speak today may not be so recognizable, its presence in numerous films has been key.
Is about Joanna bennett, actress and stunt specialist who is known primarily for her work as a stuntman for Brie larson at Marvel Cinematic Universe, where she has also been the specialist for Karen gillan, for example.
Bennett has also been in charge of action scenes for Gal gadot in Zack Snyder’s Wonder Woman and Justice League (and its original version).
In Boba Fett’s book we see several tuskens, but one stands out among the others for its way of distributing, which neither Amazon at this time. That tusken warrior is embodied by Joanna Bennett herself, and seems to carry some weight in Boba Fett’s past story.
It is one of those Star Wars curiosities like The Mandalorian, where one of Pedro Pascal’s stuntmen as Din djarin is Brendan wayne, grandson of the legendary John wayne.
