They discover a novelty in Pokémon Shiny Diamond and Shimmering Pearl that could be a clue for Pokémon Legends: Arceus

A Pokémon Shiny Diamond and Shining Pearl player discovers a secret book that could give a clue to Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the next game in the series.

Pokemon unleash his fever again all over the world. The Brilliant Diamond and Shimmering Pearl remakes now are available on Nintendo Switch, and they are being a huge success.

Although they faithfully recreate what was seen in the DS originals, in Brilliant Diamond and Shimmering Pearl they are discovering some secrets and tricks about cloning Pokémon, or finding buried objects.

A player of Pokémon Shiny Diamond and Shimmering Pearl has discovered a secret legend in a book in the Canal City library. This was not present in the originals, curiously.

You already know that both games are set in the Sinnoh region, the same location that the next Pokémon Legends Arceus will have, which will arrive on January 28, 2022 a Switch.

According to this finding, we could be facing a clue about Legends Pokémon Arceus. Hisui region is like Sinnoh territories were previously known, and attention to the following text.

Once upon a time in the East Sea, there was a brave human who asked the Pokémon that lived in the sea to let them see the prince. Mantyke, Buizel, and a Qwilfish with massive barbs recognized the human’s bravery and joined them. Together, they set out in a boat on the sunset-streaked sea, sailing through the ocean gate that stretched out on the waves.

The text continues, but we can already guess where the shots are going. Prince mentioned in the book could be Manaphy, a legendary Pokémon that is characterized by living in the seas, and that could be obtained in Diamante and Perla.

News of this reached the prince, who went to meet the brave little group at Seaside Hollow.” Interestingly, Seaside Hollow does not exist in any Pokémon game …

From here we can deduce several things. The first is that this legend could be a quest from Pokémon Legends Arceus, or be related to the plot of the game.

Another could be one new regional form for Qwilfish. This Pokémon, introduced in the second generation, could have a Hisui form, based on the huge spikes that legend describes.

Some players claim that this legend does not refer to Arceus and the Hisui region, but to a possible event that ILCA launches to obtain Manaphy in another way in Bright Diamond and Shining Pearl.

Pokémon Shiny Diamond and Shimmering Pearl now are available exclusively for Nintendo Switch. They are being a real hit in Japan, and are a great starting point for Pokémon Legends Arceus, which will arrive on January 28, 2022.
