Horizon Forbidden West's State of Play is already the most watched of all those dedicated to a single game

Horizon Forbidden West has already established itself as one of the most important releases for next year on PS5 and PS4, but there is still a lot to know.

Guerrilla Games is going to increase the playable possibilities with respect to Horizon Zero Dawn and this sequel will add a lot of news in terms of the open world.

In a new post from PlayStation Blog, the development team has added valuable information about Horizon Forbidden West and its evolution.

To begin with there was talk of immersive news and how the DualSense will transmit unique sensations. But that will not be all, there will be novelties at the design level such as free climbing.

The free climbing system at Horizon Forbidden West is a feature that we are extremely excited about, as it has allowed us to make large sections of the terrain scalablethey commented.

Information about precious weapons and tools like the Pullcaster, a kind of winch that will open up new routes.

The team placed special emphasis on hand-to-hand combat, one of the systems that will improve the most, as well as the actions of riding on beasts.

When it comes to mounted combat, the player will have to adapt and decide who to take out first and how most effectively; human enemies have weapons, attacks and abilities that machines do not have and vice versa.

Finally, they stood out work benches where to improve Aloy’s weapons and outfits and other small playable improvements.

We put a lot of effort into creating more options and depth for players, and we’re very excited to see how people will play as Aloy with so many new abilities, weapons, and gear that can be gained throughout the game, said Dennis Zopfi., lead combat designer.

We remind you that Horizon II Forbidden West is out February 18 on PS5 and PS4. Are you looking forward to this game?
