Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto to lead new EA studio to make FPS games

Marcus lehto, one of the creators of Halo at Bungie since its inception, has a new home: Electronic Arts. But Lehto will not join any of EA’s existing studios, instead leading as Game Director. a new study, as announced in their social networks.

Lehto will go on to work on this new EA team that will be based in the Seattle area. The name of the studio and who else will accompany it is unknown, but it will be focused on first person shooter games.

A few days ago, Lehto was already advancing the news on social networks, warning that it could be somewhat divisive, but hoping that everyone would accompany him on his new adventure.

Lehto joined Bungie in 1997, and worked as an art director at Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST And till Halo Reach on Xbox 360.
