Fans of Call of duty have a date marked on the calendar: November 5th. It will be the day that Call of Duty Vanguard lands in stores, picking up the baton from Black Ops Cold War.
This return to the Second World War It will bet on a cinematic campaign mode and the usual multiplayer (which we have tested in the betas), but there is still something more …
Of course, Sledgehammer will also include the modality Zombies, habitual in the series Black Ops and that had its origin in the first World at War. Vanguard will inherit its terrifying benefits.
Today at 5:00 p.m. it has been presented Call of Duty Vanguard’s Zombies mode, with a spooky trailer (which had already been leaked) that you can see above.
Not only that, but Sledgehammer has also revealed the first details of Zombies, which will arrive on November 5 along with the campaign and regular multiplayer.
The highlight is that Treyarch (Black Ops Cold War) has taken over the Zombies mode of Vanguard, which will follow a plot that will tell us what happened before what was seen in Cold War.
It’s the first time that a single studio handles a game mode in two consecutive Call of Duty installments. This speaks highly of Treyarch, who has the full confidence of Activision.
In other words, it will be a prequel to Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies mode. Of course, we will also be told the history of the Dark Aether, and how the Nazi Army will try to exploit it to take over the world.
Graphically it will be overwhelming and will be in line with what was seen in the campaign. This Zombies mode will be more supernatural than ever, and red tones (simulating Hell) will be more common never.
As to maps and weapons, the truth is that nothing is known yet (beyond what is filtered). The trailer introduces us to a game mode that aims to be a fundamental pillar of COD Vanguard.
Call of Duty Vanguard hitting stores next November 5th, available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC. Take a look at the undead Vanguard, who promise to be scarier than ever.
