MY.GAMES hires former Activision Blizzard Vice President Philippe Sauze to lead the company's European division

MY.GAMES has announced the appointment of Philippe Sauze as director of MY.GAMES Europe, whose headquarters are in Amsterdam.

Its objective will be to improve the positioning of MY.GAMES in Europe as part of its strategy to become one of the 25 most important companies in the sector worldwide.

For those who do not remember, with more than 26 years in the sector, Philippe Sauze is one of the great veterans of the industry, with more than 15 years of experience in Electronic Arts and Head of Activision Blizzard for EMEA markets.

As director of MY.GAMES Europe, Philippe Sauze aims to strengthen the European distribution of MY.GAMES and expand the company’s presence in Europe. His long career and experience in the sector will be key to further strengthen and diversify MY.GAMES development strategy.

Philippe Sauze, Director of MY.GAMES Europe has stated that he is “tremendously motivated by this new challenge. My main objective is to develop the European division and strengthen the global position of MY.GAMES.”

The Amsterdam office already covers the spectrum of game production, including the publication, localization and exploitation of games throughout the region; “It will be a great honor to build, innovate and expand this headquarters.”

The appointment of Philippe Sauze joins other recent moves that make MY.GAMES ‘strategy clear and its willingness to grow in the European market, such as the recent investment in the Barcelona-based video game developer, The Breach Studios.

An interesting move that comes at a very sweet moment for the company: MY.GAMES revenues increased 18% in the first quarter of 2021 compared to the previous year and amounted to 22.1 billion rubles (247 million euros) and currently has more than 20 titles underway.
