The classic video games of Disney they have always been characterized by their difficulty, charm and fidelity to the original works. In fact, we could already see it in 2019 with Disney Classic Games Collection, which included The Lion King and Aladdin.
A few weeks ago, the ESRB (USA) rating body leaked a reissue of the Disney Classic Games Collection for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, which still has not been announced by Disney and Nighthawk Interactive.
In this reissue, the biggest novelty is the inclusion of a third game, The Jungle Book, which was originally released for the PC, SNES, and Game Boy in 1993. As usual, the different versions for different systems.
However, perhaps the nostalgic people feel happier with the inclusion of another novelty, which was a resounding absence in the 2019 edition. the SNES version of Aladdin, which will be part of this second edition of the compilation.
First, the Aladdin video game will include versions for Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Mega Drive and SNES. The Mega Drive version will also come with a Final Cut variant, as well as a demo of the time and the Japanese version.
As for the Lion King, there is no news in sight. This second compilation will include the SNES, Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Mega Drive versions, in addition to the Japanese version of the latter.
For its part, The Jungle Book (new to this edition) will include versions for SNES, Game Boy and Mega Drive, leaving out the rest of the versions released.
There is still a doubt in the air, and it is yes these new contents can be obtained separately, for those who have already purchased the first edition of the Disney Classic Games Collection. Hopefully we will know the answer soon.
The new edition of Disney Classic Games Collection It will hit stores next November, pending official announcement. Will be available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
