M. Night Shyamalan welcomes Christopher Nolan to Universal after leaving Warner

Not long ago rumors began to circulate that Christopher Nolan, filmmaker behind great successes and cult films such as Tenet, Memento, Origen, Interstellar, Dunkirk or the The Dark Knight trilogy, planned to leave Warner due to the recent discrepancies that the director had with the studio regarding releasing their premieres both in theaters and in HBO Max.

Finally, Nolan has chosen to go to Universal studios to make his next film, which is said to be about the making of the atomic bomb. Thus, the study has managed to recruit one of the best film directors that is right now in Hollywood.

Faced with this news, M Night Shyamalan, director responsible for films such as The Sixth Sense, Signs, The Forest, The Protected or the recent Time, wanted to welcome Nolan to the Universal studio through social networks.

The filmmaker also took the opportunity to re-emphasize the importance of movie theaters and encourage people to continue enjoying the cinematic experience on the big screen.

“I heard Chris Nolan is coming to Universal to make his next movie. I’m so happy to have a friend that I admire so much who comes to a home that has supported my movies in theaters like Universal has. The theatrical experience is not replaceable”.

Thus, the Christopher Nolan’s upcoming movie It will be produced by Universal Studios, whose plot seems to focus on the role of J. Robert Oppenheimer in the creation of the atomic bomb, although at the moment not much more is known about this new project by the filmmaker.
