Kena Bridge of Spirits is about to come out on PlayStation and PC. The first game from the Ember Lab studio stands out for its beautiful artistic section, worthy of a movie by disney animation, and adventurous Zelda-style gameplay with 3D exploration and combat, which was seen much more than in its launch trailer.
The game, however, is shrouded in some mystery, because when writing these words, when there are only hours left until its official launch (September 21st), there has been no criticism in the media.
Some gamers fret over not knowing quite what to expect from Kena when she finally comes out in PS5, PS4 and PC, but one of the co-founders of Ember Lab has revealed in an interview one of the most important aspects for many players, the duration.
In an interview with Segment Next, Ember Lab Co-Founder and COO Josh Grier says the campaign will last 8-10 hours on average. But he points it out: “It has a lot to do with how each one decides to play it. IWe intentionally made the main story relatively short to focus on developing a great story and memorable characters. “
Grier, however, claims that have encouraged exploration with collectibles and optional areas to unlock, like finding all the Rot to increase Kena’s abilities or the Rots’ hats to customize them.
In addition, they explain that its combat system offers a lot of replayability to test your ability at different levels of difficulty, and there will be some challenges, “Master Spirit”, that can only be completed by the most expert. “We also hope that, as with a good movie, players will want to experience the story and characters again, even if they have already completed it before.”.
Kena Bridge of Spirits is out September 21 on PS5, PS4 and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), and very soon you will be able to read the analysis in Hobby Consolas. At the end of the year there will also be a deluxe edition for PS4 and PS5.
