If you are a lover of Netflix movies then you sure don’t want to lose yourself Rescue distance, one of the next feature films that the platform will add to its catalog next October after its previous visit to theaters.

Based on the novel by Samantha Schweblin, this intrigue film tells the story of Amanda, a woman who spends her vacations in a quiet Argentine town with her daughter Nina. Always concerned for the little girl’s well-being, Amanda constantly calculates the “rescue distance” needed to protect her.

Soon Amanda discovers that the things around her are not as they seem. A local boy named David interrogates Amanda as she struggles to make sense of her surroundings and understand what is going on. They have little time to unravel a shocking and haunting tale of obsessive jealousy, invisible danger, and the power of a mother’s love for her child.
