Several years have passed, but the enormity of Red Dead Redemption 2 continues to be talked about. The Rockstar game brought us a world full of unique characters, locations and stories to discover. Nevertheless, what we saw was not everything that was initially present in the game.
It is not the first time that we have seen files found by fans that show that content was discarded in regards to the history of Red Dead Redemption 2. In this case, a few new characters have come to light.
As you can see in the No_Interaction4027 post on Reddit, the Wild West was going to feature up to 14 unknown characters who were eventually removed from the game.
These characters span all kinds of roles. Men and women, upright people, outlaws, petty criminals, environmental NPCs … There’s a bit of everything. They can even be found names that the biggest RDR2 fans will surely be familiar with.
Some are related to the narrative of the game itself, such as Mrs. Fellowes, the wife of Hector Fellowes. It even seems that others might have had their own side quest like Dr. Wormwood.
Of course, all feature a distinctive design, as is usual in Rockstar games and Red Dead in general. Who knows what new stories we could have lived with these eliminated NPCs that only show the beastly amount of content that the developer had on hand.
Meanwhile, the game continues to surprise with all kinds of curiosities. Did you know that Red Dead Redemption 2 has differences in Japan? You will find less blood and nudity.
Also don’t miss out on new stories that Red Dead Online always guarantees like the one about the player who has gone viral on TikTok for hunting down racist players.
