Far Cry 6

Take Far Cry 6 to another level with Corsair’s immersive lighting

Far Cry 6 is coming October 7 to the whole world, but we have had a major surprise when confirming that this title, one of the most anticipated triple A games of the year, is fully compatible with the immersive lighting from Corsair.

Those of you who read us daily will remember the article we published at the time about Corsair’s immersive lighting. To enjoy it, we only need a compatible game, Corsair peripherals and the iCUE tool, no more.

When we run the game, the immersive lighting will be set automatically, and it will be distributed among all Corsair peripherals and components with RGB LED lighting that we have, and that have integration in iCUE.

If when launching Far Cry 6, or any other Corsair immersive lighting compatible game, you must make sure that iCUE is duly updated, as well as all your peripherals, and that you have the integration options in games enabled. You can access these options through “Settings” (the wheel located in the upper right corner of iCUE). I leave you an image in case you get lost.

This is how Far Cry 6 looks good with Corsair’s immersive lighting

In the attached video, courtesy of Corsair itself, you can see how the immersion improves when playing Far Cry 6 thanks to the lighting provided, through iCUE, by Corsair peripherals and components.

The lighting adapts, in real time, to the different locations of the game, and also to the action of the same. Thus, for example, when we attack an enemy, the lighting turns red, when we go through the jungle it shows a greenish color, and when we use a flamethrower, orange effects are shown that simulate the flames that we see on the screen.

The result is fantastic, there is no doubt about that. As I said at the time, This technology seems like a success to me, and offers clear value when it comes to playing, both in terms of immersion and in terms of. I was lucky enough to try it in several games, such as Metro Exodus, The Division 2 and Far Cry New Dawn, and of all my favorite was the integration in The Division 2. In this sense, it may have influenced the fact that this was also my favorite game of those three.

To celebrate the integration of Far Cry 6 into iCUE, the American company will give away copies of the game in digital format when buying certain products through the Corsair official website. We can also get a personalized profile for the Stream Deck for free, and participate in the raffle for a totally personalized PC that we can see in the cover image.
