Chess master, mutant, and now post-apocalyptic warrior. Anya Taylor-Joy is forging a most interesting career with only 25 years. His roles include hit series like Peaky blinders or Lady’s Gambit.
We have also seen it in the ill-fated Los Nuevos Mutantes or in Multiple. Now, Anya Taylor-Joy prepares to pick up the baton from Charlize Theron and embody the young woman Furious Imperator in the spin-off / prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road, simply titled, Furious.
As collected LA Times, Anya Taylor-Joy is learning to drive to perform the fast-paced scenes that will be shot in the film herself, without requiring the assistance of stuntmen for the driving scenes.
How could it be otherwise, Furious It will feature large doses of action that will involve the most outlandish cars and vehicles, so knowing how to drive will be of great help to the actress and to the entire team involved.
The iconic franchise started in 1979 will be filming again in Australia, after Mad Max: Fury Road was filmed in Namibia. George miller will be back behind the camera to shape this past of one of the most acclaimed characters from the 2015 film.
Accompanying Anya Taylor-Joy in the main cast we will have stars like Chris Hemsworth (Thor: Love and Thunder) and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Matrix Resurrections).
At the moment there are not many details about the furiosa movie, beyond that it will be focused on how the young woman ends up becoming the fiercest warrior under the orders of Immortan joe (Immortal Joe).
