Battlefield 2042 presents its short film Exodus, which opens on August 12

The announcement of Battlefield 2042 has unleashed hype in the gaming community. We have already revealed to you the first details of Battlefield Portal, returning retro maps, beta details and much more news.

However, the next Battlefield 2042 Big Reveal it will not have to do with the playable aspects. Electronic Arts has released a short teaser to announce Exodus, the first official multiplayer shooter short film.

Exodus is an audiovisual experience that will introduce us to Non-Patriates, soldiers of the Special Forces of the United States or Russia that we will be able to control in Battlefield 2042. It will put us in the warlike context that the new installment of the EA saga presents.

All those who want to follow the Exodus premiere live can do so next August 12, at 5:00 p.m. Spanish peninsular time, in the video that we have inserted. As we say, it is a short film that explains the context and “ plot ” of Battlefield 2042.

As if that were not enough, EA has also announced that it will share an official Battlefield 2042 video series starting tomorrow, August 3. They will be carried out by the journalist Kayvan bechir, in report format and that will explain new details of the game.

Apart from Exodus and the details that are already known from Battlefield 2042, we remind you that Battlefield Portal will allow us to create our maps and edit them, with classic elements from deliveries such as Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Bad Company 2 or Battlefield 3, among others.

Battlefield 2042 is coming to stores next October 22, available for Xbox Series X | S, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and PC. While the game will not have a campaign mode, there will be tons of game modes and variants to have a great time for months … and years.
