Super Monkey Ball, the fun platformer, will return with a remaster (or remake) of its three games for its 20th anniversary. Announced at the E3 2021 Nintendo Direct, Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania will come out 5th of October on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X / S and PC.
More than 300 levels and mazes, collected from the first three games in the series, await us: Super Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball 2 and Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, released between 2001 and 2005 for the GameCube, PS2 and Xbox generation.
In addition to the levels (in which we move the platforms to roll the ball in which our coin is) there will be 12 minigames and many playable characters, which will celebrate the birthday of this Sega series, created by Amusement Vision and now in the hands from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio (also authors of the games of the Yakuza or Judgment saga).
Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania promises to be a more complete pack than the Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz HD that came out in 2019 on the same consoles, and by remaking the first three games it will also serve as a hook to attract new players to the saga.
