Assassin’s Creed Valhalla It has been one of the most successful Ubisoft games in recent years, which is why they decided to dedicate one more year of DLC to it, in addition to what was already planned. However, updates are frequent, and a new mode is available today, which is free: Mastery Challenges.
These modes will lead us to various shrines all over the map, and they will challenge us with stealth, combat and ranged challenges. In addition to getting exclusive rewards, you will solve a mystical mystery. When a meteor falls from the sky, a woman named Hilderan will arrive at the camp and train Eivor in the art of combat meditation.
In the sanctuaries you will face several tests: Trial of the Bear (close combat), Trial of the Wolf (marksmanship and ranged combat) and Trial of the Raven (stealth). For each test you will have a specific team, and you can get several medals according to your score. You can exchange the rewards for exclusive weapons, decorations and tattoos.
With this new mode you can continue your adventures in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla while waiting for the new DLC, such as The Siege of Paris, which comes out in summer. You will need to a power level 221 to access the Mastery Challenges.
As we said, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will have a second year of additional paid content (2022) in which we do not expect new games in the saga, but we do expect continuations of the Eivor story and delve into this Nordic world. And for those who prefer to explore without fighting, the Discovery Tour will be available in the fall.
Eager to see what new stories are in store for Eivor? Remember that while the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLCs are coming out, Ubisoft has new games planned, being Far Cry 6 its flagship release later this year, plus Rainbow Six Extraction.
