In the name of Hades! The successful roguelike developed by Supergiant Games, considered one of the best games of 2020, has confirmed that Coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S on August 13 during the Xbox + Bethesda Games Showcase. Until now, Hades had only been released on PC and Nintendo Switch.

How? Don’t you know what Hades is? In Hades, you can see quite clearly the influence of the previous works of Supergiant Games and how much they have learned in the last eleven years. Playable, for example, it does not differ much from Bastion: we control Zagreo, son of Hades and prince of the Underworld, in the third person and from an isometric perspective. We have an attack button, a special attack button, a dodge button, and a ranged attack button. Broadly speaking, that is all.
What has changed is the feeling when we get to the controls: Hades is the most satisfying game from Supergiant Games, and by far. It’s a joy to control Zagreo, move at full speed between enemies and deal sword blows left and right. This is key, because we remember that we are going to be doing it for many, many hours.
But Hades hasn’t been the only announcement for the Xbox + Bethesda Showcase. We have also been able to see the new trailer for the long-awaited Starfield (as well as its release date), new trailer for Stalker 2, Bac 4 Blood available from Game Pass launch, Battlefield 2042 gameplay … We leave you with our summary updated in real time .
