Later, another series of the Capcom saga will arrive on Netflix … and this time, it is a series in real image. It is called, for now, Resident Evil without more, and today, during Geeked Week, they have announced their cast. Lance Reddik, actor known for his roles in The Wire and Fringe, and for giving voice to Sylens in Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbbiden West, it will be Wesker.

The cast will be completed by the following actresses: Ella Balinska (Charlie’s Angels, the Forspoken game), Tamara smart (Artmis Fowl), Siena Agudong (Fast & Furious 9), Adeline rudolph (Riverdale) and Paola Nunez (Bad Boys for Life).

Reddik will play Albert Wesker, in a series set in in 2032, in New Raccoon City, the last bastion of humanity after reducing the earth’s population to 15 million humans (the rest, infected with the T Virus). Wesker’s daughters, Billie and Jade, will also star.

However, there will be a parallel timeline in 2022, in which we will see Wesker moving his family to Raccoon City 2 (according to a synopsis from a year ago, one of the Weskers will work at a university … in Madrid).

Before this series comes out, predictably in 2022, a live action movie that has nothing to do with this one will hit theaters: Resident Evil Welcome to Raccoon City. In theaters in November 2021 … and with Tom Hopper (The Umbrella Academy) as Wesker.
