Netflix and CD Projekt RED announce WitcherCon for July 9

The witcher is one of Netflix’s flagship series, even though it has only had one season so far. The Geralt of Rivia saga was especially popularized by the CD Projekt RED video games (and above all, by the best-seller The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt). The Netflix series did not adapt the video game, but the novels of Andrzej Sapkowski, but the aesthetic similarities between the two were very evident.

For that reason, and knowing that for fans both worlds are indistinguishable, Netflix and CD Projekt have decided to join forces by announcing a “Witchercon”. They have announced it as the culmination of Geeked Week, where they have announced many other animation series based on video games.

This spring, CD Projekt announced its restructuring to be able to work on its two franchises in parallel: The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077. It is not risky to assume that The Witcher 4 is right now on the table of some CD Projekt office, perhaps it is even pre-production …

CD Projekt reveals financial results for the first quarter of 2021, and they are much worse than expected

In any case, the immediate future of The Witcher includes two titles: the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S versions of The Witcher 3, as well as the “Pokémon Go” mobile game. The Witcher Monster Slayer.
