Only two days left until it begins E3 2021, the most important video game fair in the world... although this afternoon the Summer Game Fest 2021 will also begin, with 30 video game announcements and great surprises. In anticipation of E3, journalist Jason Schreier has leaked some of the ads that will be made at the fair, and some of them will surprise you very much.
On the Triple Click podcast, Schreier has revealed some surprises that we will see at E3 2021, which begins on June 12. The leaks have to do with Microsoft, Ubisoft and Square Enix conferences, while we are still waiting to see what Nintendo, Take Two and company surprise us with. Much attention, gamers.
To begin with, Schreier says that Starfield will be at the Microsoft and Bethesda conference at E3 2021, which will take place on June 13. In addition to Halo Infinite and some other surprises, the space RPG will be presented in style, revealing its release date. According to the reputed journalist, Starfield will be released at the end of next 2022, as exclusive to Xbox Series X | S and PC.
Marvel fans will smile at the next reveal. After the half failure of Marvel’s Avengers, Square Enix will announce at E3 2021 a new video game based on Guardians of the Galaxy, the iconic Marvel IP which features two spectacular movies. Will be one of the big announcements from the Square conference, although more details of the game are unknown.
As to the Ubisoft conference, called Forward, Schreier has revealed a good series of details of what the event will be. And attention, because we will not only see Far Cry 6, the second DLC of AC Valhalla or Rainbow Six Extraction, but other news will be shared that surely none of you expect. Here goes the list:
- The next Assassin’s Creed game will be really big, even bigger than Valhalla.
- Apparently, Ubisoft Sofia’s AC was canceled, transforming into a DLC for AC Valhalla.
- Far Cry 6 will have a radical change for the series, which has yet to be revealed.
- Skull and Bones, the pirate RPG, will launch in late 2022 or even later.
- Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still on a stage very early in its development.
This doesn’t really imply that Ubisoft has a huge release schedule for later this year. As you have been able to read, some projects like Beyond Good and Evil 2 and Skull and Bones won’t see the light of day until 2022, although we may know the first details of the next Assassin’s Creed.
Although this information is not officially confirmed, Schreier sources are usually very reliable, so it is very likely that all this is true. Be that as it may, we will leave doubts on June 12, when the expected begins E3 2021. Remember to check our calendar with the dates and times of all the conferences.
