Although it’s not officially E3, the Summer Game Fest could be described as the event prior to the great video game fair that, this year and after the absence in 2020, he returns with many, many conferences.
The truth is that very little has been leaked about this event directed by Geoff Keighley, but we knew that Evil Dead: The Game would be one of those games that would be in his particular video game party and, taking into account the expectation and reaction of the players behind the 2020 Game Awards trailer, it’s a game to take into account.
Saber Interactive – known for original games such as Timeshift, but also for numerous adaptations and remotes among which are Halo for PC, the new version of The Witcher 3 for PS5 and Series X or the Crysis Remastered trilogy – are developing this Four player cooperative multiplayer horror game you basically have to face hordes of demons.
The game looks really good and, as we can see in This first gameplay, Evil Dead: The Game seems very, very funny and with a multitude of death animations:
The idea is, as we say, face hordes of demons and possessed with different characters from the saga -Ash, Cheryl Williams, Scotty, Kelly, Pablo and Arthur-, so we will have to collaborate to be able to get out of the wooded settings, but also from the medieval settings of ‘The army of darkness’.
Of course, there will be several game modes and we can also control demons like Kandarian, but what has left us somewhat cold is that We still have no date to enjoy Evil Dead: The Game on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, One, Switch and PC.
Hopefully, this time around, the Evil Dead game lives up to the movies., as there were some releases in the early 2000s, but they were not even close to Raimi’s work.
We remind you that in this link you have everything that has been presented at the Summer Game Fest.
