Death Stranding Director's Cut for PS5 is introduced with a nod to Metal Gear

One of the first great moments of the Summer Game Fest It was when Geoff spoke by video call (delayed, of course) with his friend Hideo Kojima.

When everyone was waiting for Kojima to introduce a new game or revealed that Abandoned was not his (to put an end to the rumors once and for all), the Japanese creative has started to talk about current affairs, about new projects and about something that draws his attention powerfully, including social elements in their games.

It looked like we were going to run out of Kojima’s new game and … well, we don’t really have a new title, but after a “one more thin” emulating the great Steve Jobs, Kojima has shown a very ‘his own’ trailer.

With an epic trolling he has shown the first trailer of Death Stranding Director’s Cut for PS5, a version that will arrive with news that we will have to wait to know and that has been presented in a very unique way: with a tremendous nod to Metal Gear.

Actually, it is not something that takes us by surprise, since a few months ago the rumors and leaks of an extended version of Death Stranding for PS5 with a built-in DLC that would have new missions important to the narrative.

Of course, again, we must wait to see what news this version of the Kojima Productions title includes for the latest Sony console, since the trailer all it does is a nod to Metal Gear (which will not have sat very well with Konami, by the way) and little else.

We also do not know what the release date of this extended version of Death Stranding is., but we can surely wait for it by the end of the year.
