Tomorrow begins the expected Summer Game Fest, events that Geoff Keighley will present and that will show great video game commercials … and more details of other games already announced. One of them will be Evil Dead: The Game, the adaptation of the Sam Raimi saga to video games; a cooperative horror proposal that will arrive at the end of the year on PC and all consoles.
After its spectacular shared announcement trailer a few months ago, tomorrow will be the time to see Evil Dead: The Game in action. Saber Interactive has announced that Tomorrow, Thursday, June 10, the first gameplay will be shared from the official Evil Dead video game, as well as new details, playable characters and mechanics of this fun multiplayer action title.
Specifically, the Evil Dead: The Game event will be part of the opening ceremony of the Summer Game Fest, known as Kick off live. This will start tomorrow at 7:00 p.m., and can be followed live on YouTube, Twitch and Twitter. The official Evil Dead video game will be one of the protagonists of the event, which will last for more than two hours … and horror movie fans are already licking their lips.
The key to Evil Dead: The Game will reside in the charisma of its protagonists. Unlike in other sagas like Friday the 13th or Dead by Daylight, here the importance does not fall on the murderer, but will be represented in characters such as Ash (played by the great Bruce Campbell), Cheryl Williams, Scotty from The Evil Dead, Arthur from Army of Darkness (the third installment in the series), as well as Kelly and Pablo from Ash vs. Evil dead.
Evil Dead: The Game will be a third person action horror game, fully focused on cooperative multiplayer. The objective is simple: team up with other players and survive the hordes of demons and the possessed, through classic franchise settings. We will not only see the usual wooded environments of the first two films, but also the Castle and Medieval settings from The Army of Darkness.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that we can only control human heroes. Evil Dead: The Game will feature different game modes, with the option of handling demons like Kandarian. Saber promises variety and different playable mechanics, as well as great fidelity to the movie saga and even elements from the comics.
Fans of Infernal possession They will have a great time tomorrow, as they contemplate the first gameplay of Evil Dead: The Game and learn new details about it. The Saber Interactive title will arrive in the final installment of this year (presumably on Halloween), available at PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
