In recent years, the insistence of fans to see Galactus debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe it has been growing. The villain is one of the most spectacular antagonist characters in the House of Ideas, and the idea of having him on the big screen threatening the galaxy is one of the longings of the Marvelite fandom, along with the potential return of Silver Surfer, a character long associated, for better and for worse, with the villain.
At this time there is nothing confirmed (officially) about the introduction of Galactus and Silver Surfer at the UCM. We were able to see them (Galactus vaguely) in the movie of Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer, but the UCM already claims its presence (and incidentally that of the Fantastic 4).
To make the wait more bearable, Raf grassettiArt Director of God of War, wanted to give fans a little “balm” in the form of art in which he imagines the two characters looking very cinematic, ready to make the leap to the big screen.
Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is tasked with laying the groundwork for the events to come after the Infinity Saga came to an end in Avengers Endgame. Heroes need a great villain to bring them back together on a grand scale, and Galactus could very well be that villain, although there are several candidates at the table, including Kang the Conqueror, which will appear in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
