Far Cry 6 lets us '' explore '' Yara in a new gameplay, with extended sequences

The next October 7 Far Cry 6 is coming to stores, the long-awaited new installment in the Ubisoft saga for PC and consoles. Little by little we are learning more details about this new adventure, such as the animals that will help us, human mercenaries that we can recruit or even some details about the postgame. Now, there is available a new title gameplay that will leave you speechless.

We already knew that Far Cry 6 will tell a story of revolution in the town of Yara, a place dominated by the cruel dictatorship of Antón Castillo and his cult. To free its inhabitants we will have to recruit all kinds of allies and enjoy good weapons, but also explore every corner of Yara and interact with the NPCs that we will find scattered around the stages.

Cycu1 user shared a new Far Cry 6 gameplay, about 8 minutes long, and that it has extended scenes from the trailer we got to see last week. It mainly focuses on the technical section of each scenario, the liveliness of the streets of Yara, the exploration or the care with which each inhabitant of the island will be recreated.

In the skin of Dani Rojas, our mission will be overthrow Antón Castillo (played by Giancarlo Exposito, who we already know well from The Mandalorian) and prevent his young son from following in his footsteps. But not everything will be to distribute lead to our enemies, since Far Cry 6 will feature the largest map of the saga to date, with populations, jungle and beach, among other scenarios of Yara.

As usual in the Far Cry saga, in this sixth installment we will have freedom of movement to decide what and how to do what. Of course there will be missions and linear orders, but the player will be able to choose the times to solve each question, at the same time as find secrets and uncover mysteries crouched on the huge island of Yara.

Far Cry 6 will feature a first level technical section, especially on PC, where it will be compatible with ray tracing and dynamic lighting and shading engine. In addition, it will mark the debut of the saga on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, although it will also be available for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. It will hit stores on October 7, and we will know more details about the imminent Ubisoft Forward.
