Not long ago we missed the presence of Danai Gurira and the character of Okoye in recent events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it seems that the general of the Dora Milaje it will reappear in the MCU in the future. Black Panther is one of the Marvel projects that currently arouse the most interest, especially to see how Marvel Studios deal with the tragic death of Chadwick boseman, who died in the summer of 2020 after a difficult battle with cancer.

Returning to Okoye, as reported Collider, Danai Gurira has closed an agreement with Marvel studios to appear in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the sequel to the 2018 film, but it is not the only ongoing Marvel project in which he will appear.

As yet untitled, Marvel Studios is working on a Black Panther spin-off series, which will presumably be centered on the Dora Milaje, the Wakandan warriors who hand out more cookies than the explorers.

For now, Marvel Studios’ next stop is Loki, the series starring Tom Hiddleston centered around the iteration of the God of Deception who escaped in Avengers Endgame with the Tesseract. Black Panher: Wakanda Forever it won’t hit theaters until July 2022. As for the spin-off series, at the moment there are not too many details about it, but we will be waiting for the news.
