The pre-production process for HBO’s The Last of Us television series is still underway. Craig mazin (Chernobyl) and Neil Druckmann (creative director of video games) are in charge of the series and its scripts, with which they intend to capture the whole essence of the franchise of Naughty dog on the small screen. Every few weeks we get to know new details about the cast that will make up the series.
Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter, we know that a new signing has joined the The Last of Us series from HBO. Merle dandridge will take care of becoming Marlene, the leader of the Fireflies, who face the oppressive regime.
Merle Dandridge was in charge of giving voice to the character of Marlene in the two installments of The Last of Us, being a success that she repeats her role in the television series inspired by the franchise.
For now, the cast of the series of The Last of Us is completed Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) as Joel, Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones) as Ellie Y Gabriel Luna (Terminator: Dark Fate) as Tommy, Joel’s brother. We will be on the lookout for new additions to the main cast of HBO’s The Last of Us television series, as well as any news related to the project.
