The last few months have been characterized by a lot of rumors about the possible date of Battlefield 6 reveal. After it was speculated that DICE would show its new game in May, it has finally been possible to know that it will be in the month of June when, at last, we will be able to see the battlefield.
Among the many rumors that had arisen around this sixth installment, one had caught the attention of its players. Would Battlefield 6 be an exclusive title for PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC? Many pointed to that, but Official sources have confirmed that the game will come with versions for PS4 and Xbox One.
In a small post via Twitter, the well-known journalist and presenter Geoff Keighley detailed some important points of Battlefield 6. In the words of Andrew Wilson, CEO of Electronic Arts, the game would be presented in June as a new generation title, to which he added later that the game will also have versions for the consoles of the past generation.
Therefore, we continue to see that cross-gene development that many studies continue to bet on. Battlefield 6 is expected to launch during the 2021 Christmas campaign. In addition to this, Keighley contributed some important points on which this new installment will be built.
This long awaited Battlefield will feature an “epic scale” and a “total war” where destruction will change the game. The announcement in relation to the versions of PS4 and Xbox One has caused different opinions among the community of fans of the first person shooter.
He said to expect:

What do you think about all this? Would it have been better to prioritize a development exclusively focused on the most powerful consoles or is it a wise decision to bring the game to more platforms? In itself, EA also anticipated the arrival of new game modes that will expand the emerging gameplay.
