Ubisoft hit the key to success two generations ago with the launch of Assassin’s Creed. Years and years later, the story tells itself, this franchise has become the axis of the company and delivery after delivery has earned a niche in the industry as one of the big names.

After numerous games, it was tried to give a change, something that we have already seen in Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla. Is it time to take another course? That’s what it holds j0nathan, a popular leaker associated with the saga that already nailed it in some aspects of the last installment. ¿What would Assassin’s Creed be heading towards??

According to the latest report, the next game of Assassin’s Creed would be experimenting with a playable formula closer to that seen in the great Naughty Dog productions such as the Uncharted saga or The Last of Us. The leaker commented that it is possible that this project could have been discarded, since now, the supposed team that worked on it, is in the process of creating the Valhalla DLC.

The project could have been abandoned or laid fallow, but more details are added. The game would have as its central axis Richard the Lionheart and would move away from the vast open worlds from previous installments, betting on a semi-linear narrative and that each level of the game would be semi-open. The game would be in charge of Ubisoft Sofia.

The information does not come from an official source and although the leaker may have been correct in the past, this does not mean anything and should be treated as a rumor. Much emphasis has been put on commenting that this game could have been scrapped. Whether or not it is true, what would you think of this change of course in the saga.

It is time to continue talking about leaks and it is that the new DLC of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla could be set in the kingdom of Muspelheim.
