We know that today is being a somewhat monothematic day, but the Star wars day usually leaves a trail of news related to the galaxy far, far away created by George Lucas that usually attract a lot of attention, in a wide range of senses. Do you remember the leaveik? The holographic chess of the Millenium Falcon It is one of the shortest scenes in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope in the saga, yet it still has its relevance and its own action figures, like almost everything in the imaginary warsie.
Thanks to that scene we learned that it is not advisable to rouse a wookiee, unless you are looking for him to tear off your limbs when you win. Holographic chess reappeared in other productions, such as in Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, winking (out of so many) to the original film.
Now, Regal Robot has put on sale 77 exclusive sets with all the pieces of the Star Wars Dejaik for the frigid amount of $ 4,799. All units were sold out in a matter of minutes, so we cannot say that it was not very well received.
The Dejaik set includes scanned replicas of the original figures from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope of Mantellian Savrip, Kintan Strider, Molator, Houjix, Ghhhk, Monnok, K’lor’slug, Ng’ok, Scrimp, and Bulbous, made of resin and with a great level of detail. Of course they are unique sets and surely they will soon revalue upwards among collectors who want to get hold of one of these 77 “bargains” in the future.
What do you think of this Star Wars Dejaik set? Beyond its price, of course.
