Spike Chunsoft has announced a new action RPG in 3D, Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness, which is based on the popular manga and anime series Made in abyss. The game will arrive on Switch, PS4 and PC (Steam) with a global physical and digital launch in Europe, Japan and North America and in Europe it will be distributed by Numskull Games.
For those who do not know Made in abyss, is a manga of Akihito Tsukushi published since 2012 with elements of horror and darkness despite its affable appearance. On 2017 debuted an adaptation to the anime and in January 2020 a sequel was announced for said adaptation, assuring fans that there will be more exciting content in addition to the manga.
In the game, titled Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness, the player will descend through the world and increase their experience with it. You can relive the events of the anime in story mode, but also explore a original story supervised by its author. Many characters from the series will make their appearance and all will have original voices of the seiyuus of the series.
The original story of the game will unfold many days after Riko and Reg go out into the Abyss, the world that is yet to be conquered is the center where adventures are born; and where they disappear. Those who appear in these stories are hypnotized by the power of the abyss and they aim to go down to the anchor of darkness.
“The stories about to be told are the adventures of an unnamed Abyss explorer …“, in the gallery you can see some of the game images that have already been shown.
